Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy S26 FE sometime soon, and while the South Korean tech giant has yet to divulge any details, the smartphone has been the subject of multiple leaks already. Previously, images of the device showed up online, along with a few other tidbits. Now, a new report has revealed its complete specifications, leaving little to the imagination.
German outlet WinFuture has apparently procured the device’s data sheet. According to the publication, Samsung’s upcoming Fan Edition Galaxy phone will sport a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2,340 x 1,080 pixel resolution. This panel will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits of typical brightness, and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. Furthermore, the device will supposedly measure 7.4mm thick and weigh 193g. It will also come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Under the hood, the phone is said to feature an Exynos 2500 SoC, though this may not be too surprising. Back in April, a Geekbench listing suggested that this will be the case. Anyway, the new report claims that Samsung will equip the handset with 8GB of RAM, as well as either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Notably, there is no mention of a 512GB option here.
Beyond that, the phone will supposedly pack a 4,900mAh cell with support for 45W charging. As per the report, this may be a silicon-carbon battery, much like the ones used in the brand’s Galaxy Z Fold8 lineup. It will also allegedly offer up to 50 hours of typical use.
On the software side, the device is expected to run on Android 17 via One UI 9. Meanwhile, connectivity features will include Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, NFC, and two nano-SIM slots. It will also offer eSIM support.
As for its imaging setup, the phone will reportedly come with a triple camera setup on the rear. This arrangement will include a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and hardware image stabilization. Aside from that, there will be a 12MP ultra-wide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. Finally, an 8MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom will complete the trio. Flipping the phone around, you will get a 12MP selfie snapper with an f/2.2 aperture. If this all sounds familiar, that’s because it’s pretty much the same hardware as last year’s model.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will reportedly come in three colours: Graphite, Pistachio, and Blueberry. Of course, the previously leaked renders have already given us an idea of what they will look like. Other than that, past reports have suggested that the phone will be pricier than its predecessor, with a EUR799 (~RM3,738) price tag for the base 128GB variant.
With all this in mind, though, these are still leaks at this point. We’ll only have confirmation once the phone makes its official debut. Samsung will likely unveil the device next month, possibly on 1 September.
