Acer has unveiled a new selection of gaming monitors at IFA 2026. The lineup comprises three Predator displays, headlined by the XB253Q U1, as well as four models in the Nitro range.
Predator Lineup
Starting at the top of the list, the XB253Q U1 serves as the brand’s first FHD gaming monitor with a 1,000Hz refresh rate. Designed for hardcore gamers, the premium display sports a 24.5-inch IPS panel with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, a peak brightness of 450 nits, as well as a 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut. It comes with the brand’s Visual Response Boost (VRB) Pro technology for reduced motion blur and ghosting. Furthermore, the monitor is VESA DisplayHDR400 certified and offers AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support. For ports, it features two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 2.1 port.
Moving on, we have the X32 V3, which is a 31.5-inch display that uses a QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel. This panel features a 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution, a 180Hz refresh rate, and 450 nits of peak brightness. In addition to this, the monitor offers a 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a 0.03ms GtG response time. It also comes with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, as well as AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support.
Last but not least, the 27-inch XB273K V7 sports an IPS panel with a native UHD resolution and a 160Hz refresh rate. This panel supports DFR technology, allowing it to switch to FHD resolution with a maximum refresh rate of 500Hz. As with the other models in the lineup, this monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible. Additionally, an Acer Smart Dial lets users adjust settings like brightness and contrast via a remote control.
Nitro Series
The new additions to Acer’s more accessible gaming lineup are the XV275X P, the XZ340CKR P, the XV275U Z2, and the XV270U Z3. All four models support AMD FreeSync Premium, allowing for a tear-free experience.
Starting with the first of the bunch, the XV275X P sports a 27-inch IPS display with a 5K resolution at a 165Hz refresh rate. DFR allows the monitor to drop the resolution down to QHD while maintaining a 330Hz refresh rate. Regardless of resolution, the display offers a 0.5ms GtG response time, a 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and Delta E<2 colour accuracy.
Meanwhile, the XZ340CKR P features a curved 34-inch panel with a baseline 5,120 x 2,160 pixel resolution at 180Hz. Users can also switch to WFHD resolution for a higher 360Hz refresh rate. Other highlights include an up to 0.5ms GtG response time, HDR10 certification, and a DCI-P3 colour gamut of 90%.
The XV275U Z2 and the XV270U Z3 are both 27-inch IPS displays with tri-mode DFR and response times of up to 0.5ms GtG. That said, there are some notable distinctions between the two. The XV275U Z2 is optimised for gaming, offering QHD resolution with a 275Hz refresh rate, FHD resolution at 360Hz, and HD resolution at 520Hz. Other than that, it features 1152-zone Mini LED backlighting and Acer HDR1000, plus 97% DCI-P3 and 95% Adobe RGB colour gamuts.
On the other hand, the XV270U Z3 is aimed at both gamers and content creators. Its three modes include QHD resolution at a 275Hz refresh rate, FHD resolution at 360Hz, and HD resolution at 520Hz. Other features include HDR10 certification and a 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Availability And Pricing
The monitors will launch in select markets, particularly North America, EMEA, and China, sometime between Q4 2026 and Q1 2027. As is often the case with products announced at IFA, no details on local availability have been disclosed thus far.
In any case, the Predator XB253Q U1 will be priced at US$1,099 (~RM4,442) in North America. Meanwhile, the X32 V3 and XB273K V7 will be priced at US$899 (~RM3,634) and US$449 (~RM1,815) respectively. As for the Nitro lineup, the XV275X P, XZ340CKR P, XV275U Z2, and XV270U Z3 will retail for US$1,199 (~RM4,846), US$699 (~RM2,825), US$329 (~RM1,329), and US$299 (~RM1,208).
