OPPO is expected to launch the Find X10 series sometime soon. While the company has yet to officially announce anything about the upcoming lineup, several details have already surfaced through leaks. Though we might not see the Ultra variant make its way to international markets, a well-known leaker claims that the base model could be pretty robust as is.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the vanilla OPPO Find X10 is, as per machine translation, “positioned as the most powerful flagship standard edition”. The leaker’s report touched on the upcoming phone’s alleged battery capacity, imaging capabilities, and display setup.
Battery Improvements
In terms of battery, Digital Chat Station says that the OPPO Find X10 will be equipped with an 8,000mAh cell. If the reports are accurate, this would be a sizable bump over the Find X9’s 7,025mAh capacity.
The tipster claims that this would make the upcoming model the only phone in its class to offer a battery of this size. However, he did not mention the phone’s charging speeds.
Dual 200MP Camera System
The phone’s camera array is expected to see another bump in performance as well. According to the post, the Find X10 may come with two 200MP sensors: one for the main camera, while the other is for the telephoto camera. Digital Chat Station notes that both cameras are also said to offer excellent colour reproduction, though the tipster did not elaborate on how this would be achieved.
A Familiar Display With New Tricks
Last is the display. The report notes that the upcoming handset will feature a panel supporting the BT.2020 wide colour gamut, which covers a broader range of colours than the more commonly used DCI-P3 colour space.
The tipster also highlights what it describes as an “industry-leading beneficial red light output”. Other reports claim that this could help reduce eye strain and provide a more comfortable viewing experience over extended periods. All of these features are reportedly packed into a familiar 6.59-inch 1.5K display.
How Does It Compare With The Find X9?
Though we don’t have a full picture of the upcoming smartphone just yet, this brief leak does give us some insight into what we can expect and how it differs from its predecessor. For reference, the Find X9l comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits.
Inside is a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Keeping the lights on is a 7,025mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging. It has three main cameras: a 1/1.4-inch LYT-808 main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto, and a 50MP wide.
