Since we already covered the Galaxy S23 Ultra which is the top-of-the-line model, it is now time to check out the rest of the Galaxy S23 family. For starters, both the standard Galaxy S23 and the slightly larger Galaxy S23+ are running on the same custom Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor as per their Ultra counterpart.

As noted in our earlier report, Samsung has claimed that the processor is currently the fastest Snapdragon to date. Other features that both phones shared with their Ultra counterpart also includes Dynamic AMOLED 2X display panel and 240Hz touch sampling rate in Game Mode.

However, the resolution of the Galaxy S23’s 6.1-inch and Galaxy S23+’s 6.6-inch display maxes out at FHD+. While both devices still feature dynamic refresh rate capability, the range is much smaller at 48Hz to 120Hz.

Despite the differences in screen and physical sizes, both Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ carry the same camera setup though. On their back, there is a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and 10MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom capability while there is also a 12MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

These devices do carry a different set of batteries as the standard Galaxy S23 was equipped with a 3900mAh battery which is much smaller than the 4700mAh battery on the Galaxy S23+. When it comes to charging time, Samsung stated that it takes around 30 minutes for Galaxy S23 to reach 50% with a 25W charger while the Galaxy S23+ can get back up to 65% in the same duration albeit with a more powerful 45W charger.

Just like their higher-end Ultra sibling, both of these devices are also IP68 phones. They are also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on their screen and back area.

When it comes to pricing, the standard Galaxy S23 starts at RM3,899 for the 128GB variant while the 256GB option costs RM4,199. On the other hand, the Galaxy S23+ 256GB and 512GB options can be purchased at RM4,699 and RM5,199, respectively.

If you thinking of getting your hands on one of these devices, you can obtain RM200 off the normal retail price by entering this particular promo code – LWGS23R – made available specially for Lowyat.NET readers if you purchase them through Samsung Online Store. You can also take advantage of the pre-order program which is open from now until 23 February and provides several deals including a double storage upgrade, discounts on selected Galaxy products, and an RM400 e-Voucher.
