Infinix has announced some new products for the local market. The GT NX Series is a set of mobile accessories aimed at gamers. Comprising the GT NX Controller and the GT NX Station, the lineup serves to address the limitations of mobile gaming and offer a comfortable and immersive experience in multiple scenarios.
As part of the brand’s GT ecosystem, the duo is designed with the GT series smartphones in mind. As such, compatibility with other Android devices may vary.
GT NX Controller
Starting with the GT NX Controller, it is, as the name says, a controller for smartphones. Design-wise, it features ergonomic laser-textured grips to prevent slips during extended gameplay. It also supports multiple play modes, including phone clamping, desktop gaming, and portable single-hand play.
What sets this controller apart from similar products is the 1,089mm² glass touchpad, which promises the precision of touch-aiming and mouse-like accuracy. It also comes with a Hall Effect thumbstick and triggers. According to the company, the device’s three-chip architecture allows for millisecond-level direct connectivity for inputs. Haptic feedback is also on board, and players can choose from three intensity levels via the XArena software. Finally, the controller packs dual 730mAh batteries that can apparently power over 22 hours of gaming.
GT NX Station
The other half of the set is a docking station with built-in thermoelectric cooling. The 9-in-1 hub design includes a wide selection of ports. These include a HDMI port, an RJ45 Ethernet port, two USB-A ports, a USB-C Host Cable, a USB-C port, USB-C PD input, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Aside from that, the accessory supports Universal Extend and Mirror modes on compatible screens, so users can cast their gameplay to large displays. Worth noting that this feature is limited to certain products, particularly Infinix devices running on XOS 16.3 and newer, as well as USB-C devices with native DP output. Finally, the accessory sports dynamic RGB lighting for that e-sports vibe.
Pricing And Availability
Both the GT NX Controller and the GT NX Station each come with a recommended retail price of RM399. That said, both are currently available at a promotional price of RM299. Furthermore, the brand is offering the GT NX Bundle for RM549 as part of an exclusive online pre-order promotion. This bundle includes both the controller and the docking station.
Those interested in getting the set can head over to the company’s official online stores, including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. The accessories will only be available for purchase at Infinix Brand Stores starting early next month, though no concrete date has been confirmed.
