Taiwanese publisher Justdan has brought the Capcom pop-up store to our shores once again. This time, it has returned to LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, albeit in the ACG Base section of the mall. For those not keeping track, this is the third Capcom pop-up store in Malaysia, following the one in Johor Bahru back in April. Unlike the previous events, this one will be around for quite some time, lasting until 27 December 2026.
The store officially opened its doors to the public at 11 AM today, and we had the opportunity to swing by and check out the merchandise. The distributor has brought in a diverse range of products that are typically exclusive to Japan. According to a Justdan representative, the lineup comprises more than 350 items.
These include merchandise from franchises like Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, and Mega Man, among others. There are also some items from the more recent releases like Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Pragmata, though the selection is pretty limited.
Of course, Monster Hunter remains the dominating presence at the store, though there is a bit more variety this time. The product lineup covers plushies, models and standees, apparel, as well as some other odds and ends like mugs and dinnerware. If you’ve missed your chance to get something from the Capcoron Mascot Plush range, those have made a return as well. Other available goodies include keychains and blind boxes.
As for the Malaysia-exclusive merchandise, the store is offering a limited-edition t-shirt, which has a design featuring characters from notable franchises. This is the first of two exclusive items, with the other being a tote bag, which will be available in either October or November.
It is also worth noting that the product lineup will change throughout the event period, as Justdan plans on bringing in more items. Apparently, around 30 to 40 products will come in on a monthly basis, so repeat visitors will have something new to look forward to.
Additionally, those spending at least RM100 in a single receipt are entitled to receive a free postcard. However, this, like the other Malaysia-exclusive goodies, is subject to stock availability.
As mentioned earlier, the Capcom pop-up store is open from today until 27 September 2026. Fans can head over to the ACG Base on Level 2, LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre between 10 AM and 10 PM during this period.
