Samsung is gearing up to launch the newest additions to its flagship tablet lineup, namely the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. Although the South Korean tech giant has yet to disclose details on the devices, there has been no shortage of leaks. This time, German publication WinFuture has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming products, their launch date, as well as the possible pricing in Europe.
According to the outlet, both models will be available in silver and grey finishes. Other than that, they will reportedly be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and run on Android 17 via One UI 9.0 right out of the box. Furthermore, they will come with an IP68 rating and a 12MP front camera.
Galaxy Tab S12+

As past leaks have claimed, this year’s lineup will not feature a base model. Instead, the lower end model will be the Galaxy Tab S12+. The publication reported that this version will weigh 555g and feature a 12.6-inch AMOLED display. This panel will supposedly offer a 2,800 x 1,752 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Internally, the device may pack a 10,600mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. This would be a minor upgrade from the Galaxy Tab S10+. The new tablet may also come with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. As for imaging, it will sport a 13MP camera on the rear. Other rumoured features include a dual speaker setup.
Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra

The fancier sibling will reportedly be heavier at 693g. It will also apparently come with a much bigger AMOLED display. This screen will supposedly measure 14.6 inches and feature a 2,960 x 1,848 pixel resolution, as well as a refresh rate of 120Hz.
There is some speculation on the tablet’s display. Initial reports claimed that it will retain the waterdrop notch design from last year. However, animations found in One UI 9 beta firmware suggested that Samsung may opt for a punch-hole cutout instead, slimming down the bezels.

Exterior features aside, the tablet is said to be equipped with an 11,600mAh battery with 45W wired charging. It is also expected to feature either 12GB or 16GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the device could be offered with up to 1TB of storage.
On the imaging end, the Tab S12 Ultra may feature a dual camera setup comprising a 13MP main lens and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Other than that, it may come with four speakers.
Possible Release Date And Pricing

The outlet claims that the tablets will go on sale on 7 October 2026. As for pricing, the Galaxy Tab S12+ will reportedly have a starting price of EUR1,299 (~RM6,087). On the other hand, the Ultra model will be priced from EUR1,539 (~RM7,211).
As usual, these leaks are to be taken with a grain of salt. The veracity of these details has yet to be verified. The company has yet to confirm or deny any of the information mentioned here. That said, the Samsung Germany Instagram account has started teasing the tablets, or at least the Ultra model. Said teaser doesn’t offer much detail beyond claiming that the new device will be ultra powerful and ultra slim, but it does confirm that a launch isn’t too far off.
