There’s been a leak of what appears to be the Logitech G Pro X3 Superstrike. More specifically, it’s an advertisement reel, detailing the mouse, and it was leaked on Amazon.
The video clip was discovered by jakeu+, who posted it on X. It’s 30-seconds long and doesn’t just confirm its existence, but also its specs.
Firstly, there’s the name, X3 Superstrike, which is a dead giveaway of its breed. Second, it seems like the Haptic Inductive Trigger System, otherwise known as HITS and was first introduced with the X2 Superstrike, has been upgraded with a new NxLogi chipset. Moreover, the mouse’s also sports an updated Hero 2 sensor, allowing it to reach as high as 48,000 DPI on the sensitivity rating.
The X3 Superstrike also appears to have a new maximum acceleration of 90G, plus a tracking speed of 930 IPS, plus an improved latency of 0.3+ ms. Lastly, the mouse is expected to have a larger battery onboard – 50% larger, to be precise – allowing it to give 135 hours of gaming from a single charge.
Based on the trailer, it is also visible that Logitech has made some changes to the physical design; the brand’s video simply says that the X3 Superstrike has “refined weight and balance”. That said, it is also clear that the mouse will be available in two colour options: an all-black model, as well as a hot pink option.
The leak feels convenient, given that the X2 Superstrike has technically been out for a year, but only saw a local launch only a few months ago and, of course, we did review the mouse too. Ultimately, though, it has technically been some time, and the X3 Superstrike’s appearance is part and parcel of the Swiss brand’s yearly product update.
