Logitech recently held its G Play 2026 showcase, during which it announced a selection of products under its Logitech G branding. In addition to the new Superstrike mouse and some peripherals in its Pro line, the company unveiled the Yeti 2 USB microphone. Also tagging along for the showcase is the G502 X Plus mouse and the G316 X 75 wired gaming keyboard.
Yeti 2
Starting with the Yeti 2, it serves as a proper successor to the original Blue Yeti. Like the Yeti GX that debuted a few years back, the new model retains the signature capsule design. That said, it does come with a modern twist. Among the new additions is the built-in LED screen which features a new yeti mascot that provides assistance with the mic’s functions.
Its main highlight is the voice proximity sensor, which tracks the user’s voice in three dimensions. The microphone can also automatically adjust the gain, EQ, and pick-up pattern, allowing it to maintain the recording quality regardless of movement or position. Furthermore, an AI-powered de-noiser eliminates unwanted background noise like keystrokes and mouse clicks. Overall, it is meant to offer a user-friendly experience, with a plug-and-play approach to features. Further customisation is available through the Logitech G HUB software.
Other features of the mic include an updated three-capsule array, 24-bit/48kHz recording, and a headphone jack for monitoring. Additionally, the device features a capacitive mute button and a physical control dial.
G502 X Plus And G316 X 75
While the G502 X Plus isn’t exactly new, Logitech has updated it with a bold new design. Beyond that, the gaming mouse gets a sensor upgrade, boosting its resolution to 44,000 DPI. As for its other features, it comes with hybrid optical/mechanical switches, 13 programmable controls, a dual-mode scroll wheel, and an adjustable DPI-shift button. Moreover, users can expect support for LIGHTSPEED Wireless connectivity and customisable RGB lighting.
In addition to the G502 X Plus, the G316 X wired gaming keyboard also made an appearance at the event, and with a new 75% edition predictably called the G316 X 75. Like the 98% model announced earlier this year, this model features a gasket design with sound-dampening layers, hot-swappable switches, PBT keycaps, and a dot-matrix LED display. Basically, the distinction between the two is simply the size.
Pricing Details
The Yeti 2 comes in black and white finishes and gets a RM659 price tag. Meanwhile, the new G502 X Plus is priced at RM699. Lastly, the G316 X75 has a suggested retail price of RM389, making it just a touch cheaper than its larger counterpart.
