Coinciding with the launch of the REDMI Note 17 series, Xiaomi has officially launched a new wave of wearable accessories. The lineup consists of two new watches, which are the REDMI Watch 6 Active, the REDMI Watch 6 Lite, and the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active.
It’s worth mentioning that the company is including the previously launched REDMI Headphones Neo as part of this lineup. However, there’s nothing new about it save for its Mist Blue colourway.
REDMI Watch 6 Active
Specs-wise, the REDMI Watch 6 Active comes with a 1.85-inch AMOLED display that has a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The screen uses 2.5D curved glass, which is used to contrast its flat frame design. The frame itself is made with plastic that weighs 26g and measures 9.7mm and is rated for IP68 dust and water resistance.
According to the official spec sheet online, the wearable has a 470mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims is good for up to 18 days of light use. Much like many smartwatches today, it comes with a variety of health and tracking features like all-day heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep monitoring and more. It also features 140 sports modes like running, cycling, and ball sports, to name a few.
REDMI Watch 6 Lite
Moving on, we have the REDMI Watch 6 Lite, which is marketed to be a wearable designed for the outdoors. Despite its name, it has a larger screen compared to its Active counterpart, featuring a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. The body is marginally larger and heavier to accommodate the bigger screen, coming in at 9.9mm and weighing in at 27.8g.
Once again, the website says that the wearable carries a 470mAh battery that can last up to 18 days with light use. Alongside the standard health tracking features, the wearable comes with five-system GNSS positioning built-in that allows users to keep track of their routes even without their smartphone.
The watch comes with the same array of workout modes as the last watch but with greater emphasis on swimming. This is because the REDMI Watch 6 Lite comes with a 9-axis sensor for more accurate tracking, alongside 5ATM water resistance.
Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active
Last up on the list is the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active. Diving into the details, it features a 1.47-inch screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen is housed within a 43.5 x 25.8 x 10.2 mm case which features a 5 ATM water resistance rating.
Keeping the lights on is a 300mAh cell which Xiaomi claims can last up to 21 days with light use. The device comes with a variety, though standard, array of health tracking. As for keeping track of activities, the watch only comes with 50 built-in sports modes. That said, it can keep track of how many calories a person has burnt alongside their workout duration.
Price
As mentioned before, all three wearables are available in the country. The REDMI Watch 6 Active, REDMI Watch 6 Lite, and Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active have retail prices of RM229, RM299, and RM199, respectively.
However, for a limited time, Xiaomi is offering an exclusive promotional price, dropping them to RM159, RM249, and RM119. Those interested can purchase the devices at Xiaomi’s official website, as well as its official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
