Xiaomi has officially announced that it will be launching its Smart Band 11 Active for the global market. As the name suggests, it is the successor to the brand’s Smart Band 10, albeit with a greater emphasis on sports and fitness.
With the watch’s announcement, the company also unveiled all of its specs on its website. First things first, the wearable comes with a 1.47-inch TFT screen with a 172 x 320 pixel resolution, has a pixel density of 247PPI, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen is housed within a 43.5 x 25.8 x 10.2 mm case which features a 5 ATM water resistance rating. That said, the smartwatch isn’t suitable for diving, hot showers, or saunas as per the fine print.
Much like most wearables today, the Smart Band 11 Active comes with a variety of health tracking and fitness-focused tools. For the former, it can track heart rates, blood oxygen levels, sleep, women’s health, and all-day stress monitoring. For the latter, it comes with 50 different sports modes built-in. It syncs all the collected data to the paired smartphone via a Bluetooth 5.3 BLE connection.
Keeping the lights on is a 300mAh, which Xiaomi claims can last for up to 21 days with light use. With normal usage, the smartwatch will last users up to eight days. It charges via a magnetic charging cable and takes less than 120 minutes to reach full capacity. Beyond that, the tech giant says that the Smart Band 11 Active is available in three different colours: black, grey, and “Pomelo Pink”.
At the time of writing, the company’s global arm has yet to unveil the international price, let alone confirm when it will be available for purchase. We checked SIRIM and the local website but did not find the device listed anywhere. The only regional arm currently selling the Smart Band 11 Active is Xiaomi Poland, which has listed the device for PLN139 (~RM151).
