In a sea of products announced at its annual keynote at IFA 2026, Acer showcased the SFF RTX Spark mini PC at its booth. The small form factor desktop is basically just another form factor in which NVIDIA’s first all-encompassing ARM processor.
As a quick primer, the NVIDIA RTX Spark is the GPU maker’s first-ever processor, made in collaboration with MediaTek and based on the ARM architecture. Basically, it’s the brand’s own APU, if you will.
During its initial announcement, NVIDIA announced that the RTX Spark is made up of the 20 Grace CPU cores; 6,144 Blackwell RTX GPU cores, and 5th generation Tensor Cores, and 128GB of Unified Memory. As of yesterday, we now know that the GPU brand intends to launch multiple configurations of the processor, each with varying amounts of Unified Memory.
To that end, laptops such as the Asus ProArt P14 are expected to some of the first devices to lead the charge for the RTX Spark, but like its more enterprise-oriented sibling, the DGX Spark, there are some brands that are making mini PCs out of them, and Acer is one of them.
At the time of writing, Acer did not specify when the SFF RTX Spark will be available, nor how many configurations it will be releasing it in, if any. However, if the current market is any indication, it is likely that the Taiwanese company will be releasing it sooner rather than later, given that NVIDIA has already mentioned that it plans for the chip to hit the shelves within the third quarter or Fall this year.
