Among the new products announced during Acer’s Global Press Conference at IFA 2026 is the Predator Atlas 7. It serves as the latest addition to the brand’s gaming handheld lineup, joining the previously unveiled Predator Atlas 8. The new model largely differs in terms of screen size, which is indicated by the number at the end of its name.
So, the Predator Atlas 7 sports a 7-inch FHD touchscreen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support, as well as 500 nits of peak brightness. This panel comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection, as well as DXC to reduce glare. Furthermore, the device sports dual 2W speakers with DTS:X support, and two microphones with Acer PurifiedVoice, allowing for AI-assisted noise reduction.
Under the hood, the handheld PC is powered by up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor and up to Intel Arc B390 graphics. It also comes with an 80Wh battery, plus a dual-fan cooling system. This setup comprises a metal AeroBlade fan and a secondary plastic fan. On the connectivity end, the device sports dual Thunderbolt 4 ports and comes with support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
According to Acer, the Predator Atlas 7 is designed to offer more intuitive control, featuring contoured grips, a bigger palm rest area, recessed keys, and anti-slip texture. One notable upgrade is the inclusion of a TMR option for the joysticks, allowing for better precision and ease of use. Other features include Hall Effect analogue triggers and a built-in fingerprint reader on the power button. Naturally, RGB lighting is on board to complete the aesthetic.
In addition to the new handheld, the company also revealed the Project DualPlay Mini concept. Building on the original Project DualPlay prototype from two years ago, it focuses on bridging mobile productivity with gaming.

It features two distinct control configurations: a handheld mode for a console-like experience, and a laptop mode with a built-in physical keyboard for first-person shooter games. Furthermore, it can connect to an external monitor. A flip-and-swivel design allows for quick switching between modes. Other features include the words “Acer 50 since 1976” embedded in Morse Code on the back cover, plus the same dual-fan design as the Predator Atlas 7.
