In conjunction with IFA 2026, Acer has unveiled new additions to its Swift series of thin and ultra-light laptops. Both the Swift Blade 14 and the Swift Air 16 continue to follow this design approach, allowing users to stay productive even while on the go.
Starting with the Swift Blade 14, its chassis is composed of magnesium-aluminium alloy and carbon fibre, allowing it to maintain a slim profile measuring 12.9mm and weighing just 799g. Looking beyond the compact form factor, the laptop features up to a 3K OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and up to 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Furthermore, the ultra-slim 4.3mm bezels allow for a 90% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350. This gets paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 1TB of storage. A 50Wh battery ensures the laptop will last the day. Other features include three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports and a FHD user-facing camera with a camera switch.
Colour options for the Acer Swift Blade 14 include marshmallow blue and marshmallow white. As for availability details, the laptop will first be available in EMEA in December 2026. So far, there is no word on pricing, or local availability for that matter.
Moving on to the new Swift Air 16, its design marries form with function. With an all-aluminium chassis, the laptop weighs 1.5kg and measures 13.3mm thick, so it leans closer to the upper limit for the Swift series.
In any case, the device sports a 16-inch WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 500 nits of brightness. Users can choose between an OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 and an IPS panel with 100% sRGB. The latter offers multi-touch support. Other than that, the laptop comes with a quad-speaker audio setup with DTS Virtual:X for 3D spatial audio.
As for internals, the Swift Air 16 can be configured with up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350 with up to 40 platform TOPS and a dedicated NPU. Users can get up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of upgradeable storage. Keeping the lights on is a 70Wh battery, which according to the company can charge to 50% in 30 minutes using a 100W adapter. Other features of the laptop include a backlit keyboard and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports.

The Acer Swift Air 16 comes in three finishes, namely elemental blue, sage green, and sandstone gold. For now, there is no word on local availability.
