It looks like POCO is gearing up to launch the next generation of its F series. The F9 Pro and F9 Ultra have appeared in quite a few leaks over the past couple of weeks, revealing their designs and specifications. Now, the Ultra model has popped up on the SIRIM database, indicating that the phone will be headed to our shores in the near future.
Based on the listing, the smartphone carries the model number 26077PC53G and received approval quite a while ago, on 30 July 2026. At the moment, the device is listed all by its lonesome, and not accompanied by its Pro counterpart.
In any case, the database entry by itself doesn’t say much about the phone, but again, there have been plenty of leaks already. The latest one is a Geekbench 7 listing, which shows the handset attaining a single-core score of 2,980. It also scored 10,030 on the multi-core test.
Looking beyond the benchmark results, though, we see that the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Furthermore, this particular prototype features 16GB of RAM, though the brand will probably offer a 12GB variant. Finally, the entry shows that the device runs on Android 16.

As for the other specifications, the POCO F9 Ultra is said to be a rebadged REDMI K100 Pro Max, albeit with a nerfed battery. It is expected to feature a 6.9-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen protected with Gorilla Glass 7i. This panel will reportedly offer a refresh rate of 185Hz and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The Bose speakers should be making a return as well, and apparently a new LED notification ring will be available. Internally, the phone may pack an 8,050mAh battery with 100W charging. While not as impressive as its Chinese equivalent, it is an upgrade from its predecessor.
On the imaging end, the handset may sport a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies, it could come with a 32MP front camera. Other supposed features include a metal frame with a fibreglass-reinforced plastic back, and an IP69 rating.

Meanwhile, the Pro variant will reportedly use the same AMOLED display, except it will measure at a more modest 6.59 inches. Of course, as the less souped up model, it will miss out on the LED ring. Other than that, it may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series SoC and a 6,330mAh battery with 100W charging.
For imaging, it will apparently get the same 200MP primary shooter. This will be paired with a 50MP 2.5x telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the front, it will feature a 32MP selfie shooter. Like the Ultra model, the Pro is expected to come with a metal frame and a plastic back, and an IP69 rating.
In terms of pricing, the Pro model could start from EUR799 (~RM3,769). On the other hand, the Ultra variant could have a starting price of EUR999 (~RM4,713). That being said, this is speculation at this point, since there has been no official word on either device just yet. We’ll have full confirmation once the POCO F9 series debuts, though it’s unclear when that will happen. However, rumours point to a launch next month.
