CMF has officially launched the Buds Neo in India after teasing the wireless earbuds earlier this month. Positioned as the brand’s most affordable earbuds yet, the new model features active noise cancellation (ANC) and over 50 hours of total battery life.
The Buds Neo retains CMF’s design-focused approach, featuring a square charging case with a tactile circular dial and contrasting two-tone finish. It also comes with a built-in lanyard hole, while the earbuds and case are available in Black, White and Dark Blue.
For audio, the Buds Neo is equipped with a 12.4mm dynamic driver featuring a titanium-coated PET dome and PEEK + PU surround. It supports static spatial audio and six EQ presets, while the Nothing X app provides a Custom EQ option and two levels of Bass Enhancement.
The earbuds offer up to 35dB of noise cancellation, with three ANC levels and an Adaptive ANC mode that automatically adjusts according to the surroundings. For calls, four HD microphones, with two on each earbud, work alongside CMF’s Clear Voice Technology.
CMF claims the earbuds can provide up to 11 hours of playback with ANC switched off, increasing to 52 hours when combined with the charging case. With ANC enabled, total playback is reduced to 30 hours.
A 10-minute quick charge provides up to 5.5 hours of playback, while the case takes around 70 minutes to fully recharge through USB-C. The Nothing X app also offers a 120ms low-latency gaming mode, customisable touch controls and dual-device connectivity.
Connectivity is handled through Bluetooth 6.0, with support for Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. The Buds Neo is compatible with devices running Android 6.0 or newer and iOS 13 or newer.
The CMF Buds Neo is priced at Rs1,999 (~RM85) in India. For now, CMF has not announced whether the wireless earbuds will be released in Malaysia.
