After teasing a new pair of wireless earbuds yesterday, CMF has confirmed today that the new in-ears will be called the CMF Buds Neo. The name was revealed in an official X post, where the Nothing sub-brand also confirmed that the earbuds will launch on 20 August.
Unlike the previous teaser, which was just a picture of the buds, today’s teaser is a three-second clip that focused on the Buds Neo’s charging cradle. The video was zoomed in on a specific corner of the case, so we don’t know what it looks like in its entirety. That said, the corner it chose to highlight revealed a rotating dial, similar to previous CMF earbuds.
If it’s anything like before, the dial could potentially be used to adjust the media playback on the paired device. This includes pausing and playing the media, altering the volume, and even toggling ANC. However, we are not sure of that just yet, at least at the time of writing.
It’s important to note the video also revealed the various colourways for the Buds Neo. The colour combos include a silver body with an orange dial, one with an all-black design, and another with a black charging case with a pale teal dial.
Much like yesterday, the company has yet to reveal any of the device’s specifications. However, seeing that the Buds Neo will debut soon, it won’t be long before all is revealed. The only thing left to do is wait.
