The RM200 tickets for the upcoming F1 Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) have sold out. The so-called “Madani” tickets are for the G Hillstand and are exclusively available to Malaysian citizens.
Youth and Sports Minister Dr Taufiq Johari said SIC reported strong demand for the discounted tickets after sales began. More interestingly, he also noted that the government will look into making additional tickets available, with further developments to be announced from time to time.

The strong demand is perhaps unsurprising given that the RM200 option is by far the cheapest way for Malaysians to attend the three-day race weekend, which takes place from 2 to 4 October 2026. To recap, the event is being held at Sepang after the Bahrain Grand Prix was relocated from its original venue due to geopolitical tensions in the region, although it will retain its Bahrain GP identity.
Besides the RM200 G Hillstand, ticket sales also include the B and C Hillstands at RM809.60, F Grandstand at RM1,291.40, K1 Grandstand at RM1,386, and Main Grandstand at RM2,083.40. At the time of writing, the more expensive options appear to remain available, although availability could change as demand continues.

It is worth noting that all the aforementioned tickets require MyKad verification at the point of purchase. Children below three years old can enter for free but will not be provided with a physical seat, while those aged three to six are eligible for a 25% discount on most ticket categories, excluding the RM200 G Hillstand.
