Zeekr Malaysia has announced an expansion of what it calls the Zeekr Owner privileges. As part of this, it has announced that owners of its EVs can now enjoy a preferential rate when charging their electric cars at DC Handal chargers around the country. This translates to a rate of RM1.20 per kWh, which was previously exclusive to only select DC Handal charging locations, notably along key travel corridors on the North-South Expressway.
Notably though, this requires the use of the chargEV app specifically. If you’re not already a user, then this naturally requires that you download it and register an account. Once that’s done, you’ll need to fill out an onboarding form (linked here) using the same email address as your chargEV account, as well as your EV’s VIN. The process should be done within 24 hours of your submitting the form, after which you’ll be able to benefit from the RM1.20 / kWh charging rates at all DC Handal charging points.

Incidentally, chargEV has pretty recently rolled out its 2.0 refresh, which saw improvements to the built-in map. You can now use this to list specific CPOs – DC Handal in this case – when you use it to search for somewhere you can charge your EV. You can even add them to your routine route by adding them to your list of Quick Destinations. Once you’ve plugged your EV in, you can also get Live Activities or Live Updates to see its current charging progress without launching the app.
