TNG Digital is continuing to expand its selection of services within the TNG eWallet app. This time, the company has launched ASB Financing, its first Islamic financing offering. Conceived in collaboration with CIMB, the product aims to make long-term wealth building more accessible for Bumiputera users.

Essentially, it enables users to participate in Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) investments through structured monthly commitments, without the need to rely on substantial upfront savings. The new offering builds on the TNG eWallet app’s existing integration with Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), which already lets users view and manage their investments directly on the platform.

The financing is provided through CIMB Islamic Bank and is channeled directly to the user’s ASB funds. To get started, the user can type “ASNB” in the search bar at the top of the app’s homepage. Alternatively, they can find it in the “GOfinance” section. Naturally, the user will need to link their ASNB account to TNG eWallet before they can access the feature, if they have not done so already. They will also be required to enter their 6-digit PIN.

After that, they can tap on “ASB Financing” and enter their preferred financing amount and tenure. Financing amounts range from RM10,000 to RM200,000, while tenures span between five and 40 years. As such, the user has the flexibility to choose a plan that best fits their goals and capacity. Once they have reviewed the offer and their personal details, they can upload the necessary supporting documents, check the terms, and submit the application. Then, it’s just a matter of waiting for their application to be processed.

TNG eWalletAs the entire process takes place digitally within the TNG eWallet app, it eliminates the need for branch visits or manual paperwork. This directly addresses the practical barriers faced by users when exploring long-term investment financing, including upfront financial commitments, fragmented application journeys and complex documentation requirements. Users can simply apply, check their application status, and monitor their investments in one place.
