AirAsia MOVE is expanding its network of direct airline partners. In a recent announcement, the online travel agency revealed that it is teaming up with three of the most in-demand carriers in South Asia, namely IndiGo, Air India, and US-Bangla Airlines. Through these partnerships, the platform promises more choices and better value for its users.

This move aligns with the increasing travel momentum in South Asia, which is fueled by tourism, business mobility, student flows, and other activities. The company’s statement highlights the sustained demand for routes to destinations like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Dhaka. As such, the agency aims to provide travellers with more options with competitive pricing, as well as the convenience of managing entire multi-city journeys within a single app.

AirAsia MOVE CEO Nadia Omer explained that these partnerships allow the company to provide travellers with deeper route access. This is in addition to the seamless booking experiences offered by the app, be it flights, hotels, or attractions. She went on to say that MOVE makes cross-border travel simpler and more convenient.

Air India, IndiGo, and US-Bangla Airlines are the latest to join the list of direct partners with AirAsia MOVE, which includes roughly 70 global carriers. Previously, the travel agency secured partnerships with Ethiopian Airlines, Vietjet Air, and Garuda Indonesia at the tail end of 2025.

These efforts underscore the company’s aim to become the preferred online travel agency in the region. Aside from these collaborations, the company also offers a selection of roughly 700 other airlines through authorised suppliers.
