As part of its Galaxy S23 Series launch in Malaysia, Samsung is now offering additional Galaxy S23 to the owners of previous Galaxy S Ultra and Galaxy Note Ultra generations when they trade them up for the newly launched Galaxy S23 Ultra. Depending on the exact model, the additional Galaxy S23 can be obtained for free.
Specifically, the free Galaxy S23 will be given to those who traded in their Galaxy S22 Ultra. For Galaxy S21 Ultra, customers need to add an additional RM199 while Galaxy Note20 Ultra have to fork out RM399.

Of course, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, S21 Ultra, and Note20 Ultra that customers want to trade in must be in working condition. In addition to that, they also have to make sure that the screen on these devices does not have any cracks, as noted in the promo’s Terms and Conditions document :
Also, do note that this Buy 1 Get 1 promo is valid only for the purchase of a 256GB variant of Galaxy S23 Ultra which costs RM5,699. As for the additional Galaxy S23 that customers will receive from this promo, it is the standard version with 128GB storage.
Not to forget, customers that choose to obtain their new Galaxy S23 Ultra via this promo will not be eligible for other launch deals such as the free Galaxy Watch5. That being said, they still can take advantage of the launch period’s Purchase with Purchase promo which offers up to 30% discounts on first-party accessories and Galaxy Tab S8 Series as well as 20% off for selected Galaxy wearables and hearables.
In terms of availability, the Buy 1 Get 1 promo for Ultra owners can be obtained through Samsung Experience Stores throughout Malaysia starting tomorrow, 24 February up until 31 March 2023. Alternatively, it is also available through the Galaxy S23 Series launch roadshows which are taking place this weekend at 1 Utama Shopping Mall PJ, Gurney Plaza Penang, Aeon Tebrau City Johor, and Vivacity Megamall Kuching.

We noticed that this article gather some attention on our Facebook page and many noted (heh) that the promo sounds confusing. So, for the benefit of everyone, let us help clarify it.
Let’s say you decided to trade in your current Galaxy S22 Ultra in order to purchase the new Galaxy S23 Ultra 256GB via this promo.

When you visit Samsung Experience Store and informed the staff of your intention, hand over the Galaxy S22 Ultra to the store and pay RM5,699 which is the price of a new Galaxy S23 Ultra 256GB.
At the same time, the store will also give you a Galaxy S23 128GB at no additional cost.
With that, you would then walk out from the Samsung Experience Store with two Galaxy phones in your bag: Galaxy S23 Ultra 256GB and Galaxy S23 128GB.
Now, let’s have another go at this promo but using a Galaxy Note20 Ultra as an example instead.
Similarly, inform the staff at the Samsung Experience Store of your intention that you want to purchase a Galaxy S23 Ultra 256GB by trading in your current Galaxy Note20 Ultra.
As mentioned earlier, you need to pay an additional RM399 in order to get the Galaxy S23 128GB alongside the Galaxy S23 Ultra 256GB.
Hence, the total amount that you need to pay would be RM6,098.
Hand over your Galaxy Note 20 Ultra to the staff at Samsung Experience Store for trade-in inspection and once everything is okay, proceed to the cashier to pay RM6,098.
After that, you would then leave the Samsung Experience Store with two devices in your bag: Galaxy S23 Ultra 256GB and Galaxy S23 128GB.
