Alienware Aurora R12 Coming Soon To Malaysia: Powered By 11th Gen Intel Core and GeForce RTX 30 Series

Right after Intel took the lid off its new 11th Gen Core family of desktop processors, manufacturers have begun to unleash their take on them. Naturally, Dell is part of the list as well and has announced that the new chip will be made available for its Alienware Aurora R12 gaming desktop PC.

As the Aurora R11 made its way in Malaysia last July, the model narrowly missed the launch of the GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics card. While Dell did release the RTX 30-based Aurora R11 in some markets towards the end of 2020, it was made available in our market though.

Hence, it is not surprising to see the Aurora R12 will be released in Malaysia with NVIDIA’s current crown jewel too, in addition to having the new Rocket Lake-S chips. However, the full hardware list for the refreshed desktop model in our market is not yet available at the time being since Aurora R12 is expected to be available here only towards the end of March.

That being said though, Dell did inform us that the base model for Malaysia will carry a Core i5 CPU, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, 16GB of RAM, 512GB solid state drive, and 1TB hard drive. There is also a RM 6699 price tag to it too, so at the very least you now know where the baseline starts.

We will keep you posted once the Aurora R12 appears on Dell Malaysia’s online store, so stay tuned.
