Asus is the latest company to unveil its custom variants of the Radeon RX 550 graphics card. Interestingly, Asus’ newest low-end graphics cards doesn’t come with fancy names; they’re simply dubbed as the Asus Radeon RX 550.

The only major differences between the two custom RX 550 graphics cards by Asus are their respective VRAM capacities: 2GB and 4GB. Design-wise, both graphics cards come with the same aesthetics. They’re both small form factor graphics cards, and both come with a black and red cooler shroud that doesn’t cover the entire length of the PCB.

When it comes to performance, Asus’ RX 550 graphics cards come with base and boost clock speeds of 1100MHz and 1183MHz respectively. It’s also worth noting that both RX 550’s will merely draw power from the PCIe slot itself – no power connectors needed. Dimensions of these graphics cards are as follows: 182mm x 112mm x 43mm.

One interesting feature that comes with these graphics cards are an IP5X-certified dust-proof cooling fan. According to Asus, this will help its graphics cards to extend their lifespan by 25%. That aside, the 4GB variant of the Asus RX 550 has already been made available in Malaysia since a few weeks ago, with a price tag RM599.
