Cyberforge Gaming Laptops by Tech Armory, Featuring Intel 6th Gen Core Processors

We haven’t heard much from Tech Armory since the Subang Jaya-based outfit launched its own Cyberforge brand of gaming laptop several months ago. As it turns out, the company has now begun taking order for new batch of gaming laptops that comes with Intel 6th generation Core processor.

It doesn’t come as a surprise though since Aftershock PC Singapore who is responsible for assembling Cyberforge’s laptops has launched their Skylake laptops few weeks ago. Hence, what we are looking here are pretty much a refresh of Cyberforge’s existing models with the newly released Intel 6th generation Core processor.

This include the Cyberforge G15 which was previously called SM-15 and features a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-6700HQ quad-core processor. Built with a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display, the graphical power for G15 is provided by an NVIDIA GTX 960M with 2GB GDDR5 memory. Other components that are part of the base configurations for G15 also includes 8GB of RAM, 1TB 7200rpm hard drive, and Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 card.

Subsequently, Cyberforge S-15 – now called S-15 EV – has received the new Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor as well. Just like the G15, the 2.4kg gaming laptop also features 15.6-inch full HD IPS display, 8GB of RAM and 1TB 7200rpm hard disk drive but with the more powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M GPU as its basic GPU option.

In terms of pricing, the G15 carries a starting price tag of RM 4,599 while the S-15 EV goes for RM 5,799 onwards. As Cyberforge’s website has yet to be updated with these new changes, customers need to get in touch with Tech Armory in order to discuss their preferred configurations for either of these high performance laptops before placing their orders.
