Tech Armory CYBERFORGE

Located at SS15 Subang Jaya, Tech Armory might seems like any other ordinary PC hardware shop out there but it is certainly a rather ambitious outfit. Apart from being the sole distributor for DXRacer Chair in Malaysia, Tech Armory previously worked on its own Steam Machine and gaming laptop.

Recently, the company has officially launched its latest project called CYBERFORGE which its own brand of customizable high performance gaming laptop.

Tech Armory CYBERFORGE SM-15

In general, CYBERFORGE is an evolution to Tech Armory’s existing relationship with Aftershock PC Singapore and a spiritual reboot of its previous Commandos laptop project. Hence, it didn’t surprise us when we learned that CYBERFORGE machines which are using chassis from Clevo will be assembled by Aftershock PC Singapore and will feature identical logo as well.

For starters, CYBERFORGE machines are available in two different flavours: the affordable SM Series and the higher end S-Series. Both series are further divided into 15 and 17 inch models with all four models are equipped with Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor as standard. The SM Series is also equipped with GeForce GTX 960M GPU while S Series is available with either GeForce GTX 970M or GTX 980M GPU.

On 15-inch models, users are able to equip their unit with up to 4K IGZO display panel, 32GB DDR3L RAM, 500GB M.2 or 256GB PCIe solid state drive, and 1TB 2.5-inch solid state drive. No alternative panel options are available for the 17-inch models though apart from the standard 1920 x 1080 panel but users are still free to have similar amount of maximum RAM and storage as per 15-inch models. On S Series, users can also choose to add another M.2 solid state drive and 2.5-inch storage drive.

In terms of pricing, the CYBERFORGE SM Series starts at RM 3,879 while the S Series goes from RM 5,379 onwards. To see the full line-up as well as customization options, check out its official site or connect with Tech Armory directly through fb.com/tarmory.
