Intel Kicks Off Generation Today Nationwide Tour: Offering Cash Rebate For Your Old Intel PCs and More

Intel Generation Today launch

To take place in 14 cities across the country till end of this year, Intel Malaysia has kicked off a campaign called Generation Today which aims to encourage users that still using ageing PCs (4 years old and above, according to Intel’s definition) to convert to new PCs. As part of the campaign which also has the support from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo, the company is offering up to RM 300 of cash rebates in exchange for user’s old PCs.

Not just any PC, of course. Even though the PC can be from any manufacturer, it must be powered by Intel processor and in working condition. In addition to the trade-in program, there will also be several on-ground activities that will take place during the Intel Generation Today Roadshows such as the The Longest Touch Challenge, Graffiti Touch and Unlock The Ultrabook.

Needless to say, there will be prizes to be won through these activities including RM 500 discount vouchers. The roadshow will also feature a variety of touch-based Ultrabooks, convertibles tablets and laptops for visitors to experience.

Alongside the Generation Today campaign, Intel has also launched the Experience of A Lifetime contest which offers five types of experience with each worth RM 8,000 and revolves around a theme: Taste, Feel, See, Touch and Hear. This contest is open till 30 June to customers that purchased an Ultrabook or a PC powered by Intel processor from participating retailers and of course, at the Intel roadshow that we mentioned above.
