Earlier this year, Ryt Bank rolled out support for Google Pay, allowing users to add their Ryt Bank Visa Debit Card to their Android smartphones. Just yesterday, the digital bank announced that it is expanding its payment options to include Apple Pay.
The update allows users to make payments with their iPhone and Apple Watch. Similar to Google Pay, Ryt Bank customers can add either their physical or virtual card to Apple Wallet.
To add a Ryt Bank Visa Debit Card to Apple Wallet, users must first open the banking app and tap the “+” button to add a card. Again, this works with either a physical or virtual card. Once they’ve selected a card, users will then need to confirm their name and card number, as well as accept the terms and conditions.
When that is done, the card is ready to use on their iPhone. Users can also add the card to other supported devices, such as an Apple Watch. It is also worth noting that users can set the newly added Visa debit card as their default payment card for Apple Pay.

As with Apple Pay transactions, users must authenticate their purchases using Face ID, Touch ID, or a device passcode. According to the bank, a unique device account number and transaction-specific security code are also used to help protect payment information. If you have enquiries or need support, head on over to the bank’s official website.
