Acer Malaysia has introduced the new Swift Air 14, an affordable thin-and-light laptop aimed at users looking for a lightweight machine for everyday productivity at home, school, or the office. With its low starting price and slim design, the new model is also positioned as Acer’s answer to Apple’s recently introduced MacBook Neo.
The Swift Air 14 weighs just 1.19kg and measures 12.9mm thick when closed, making it particularly portable. It is available in four colour options: Sage Green, Frost Blue, Blossom Pink, and Lilac Purple.
Specifications And Features
The laptop features a 14-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1200 and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The taller format provides more vertical screen space than conventional 16:9 1920×1080 panels, which can be useful when working with documents and other productivity applications. The display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations compared to the more common 60Hz panels found on affordable laptops.
Under the hood, the Swift Air 14 is powered by Intel’s latest Core 300 series processors, also known as the “Wildcat Lake” platform, which is designed for more affordable laptops. Malaysian configurations include the Intel Core 3 304, Core 5 320, and Core 7 350 processors.
Depending on the configuration, these are paired with between 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5 memory, along with 512GB of SSD storage. Acer is offering a total of 10 configurations locally, covering the three processor options.
Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity is provided through Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Battery-wise, Acer claims the Swift Air 14 can deliver up to 19 hours of battery life on a single full charge. The laptop also comes with AI-related features including Microsoft Copilot and Acer Intelligence Space.
Price And Availability
The Acer Swift Air 14 starts at RM2,999 for the entry-level configuration and goes up to RM4,599 for the highest-end variant. All configurations are available through authorised Acer laptop retailers nationwide as well as the Acer eStore Malaysia. However, Acer notes that the Lilac Purple option is not available yet and would only arrive in another two weeks.
For a limited time, customers who purchase the laptop between 7 October and 7 December 2026 will also receive several free gifts while stocks last. These include an Acer HyperScrolling mouse, Acer SuperCare 2 extended warranty, and an Acer SwiftSip water bottle, with a combined value of RM670.
