Proton EV subsidiary PRO-NET has announced a selection of benefits for both current and future customers. The automaker is offering these limited-time perks to celebrate the delivery of its 40,000th Proton e.MAS vehicle. As detailed in a press release, these benefits cover various areas, including charging.
Of course, the most immediate benefit comes in the form of a 40% discount on charging fees via the Proton e.MAS app. This offer will run for four days, starting from 11 AM on 1 October 2026 until 11 AM on 5 October 2026. During this period, owners can simply charge as usual through the app and enjoy the discounted rate, without any registrations or redemptions.
Beyond the four-day discount, the company has also introduced other longer-running perks. According to the announcement, the Proton e.MAS app offers access to 12 Charge Point Operators (CPOs), and from 5 October until 31 December 2026, users can get 20% off at RExharge charging points. Furthermore, customers can enjoy preferential rates of up to RM1.20/kWh at DC Handal chargers.
The company also noted that it is making charging more convenient and accessible for vehicle owners. For instance, the rates offered in the Proton e.MAS app aligns with the prices set by participating CPOs. As such, users have no need to juggle between multiple apps.
Of course, the automaker’s efforts are not limited to the charging apps. Previously, it announced plans to deploy its own branded DC chargers across the country. This initiative involves partnerships with ChargeSini, Charge+, JomCharge, RExharge, and Time Charge N Go. The company also introduced charging facilities at high-rise locations via its residential programme, which fees starting from from RM0.63/kWh.
Looking beyond charging, PRO-NET a 10% discount on service and maintenance throughout next month. Other perks include up to RM1,000 additional trade-in rebate via Carsome from 1 October until 31 December 2026.
