Packard Bell is marking its 100th anniversary with a major brand relaunch at IFA 2026, introducing a new visual identity, the “Tech it easy” tagline, and a new range of consumer electronics. The collection is led by the 14.5-inch DotBook laptop, which is set to enter EMEA retail in September 2026.
For the uninitiated, Packard Bell was founded in Los Angeles in 1926, initially made consumer radios more accessible before moving into colour televisions and, later, personal computers. The brand eventually became particularly known for its affordable PCs and netbooks, although its presence in the consumer technology market has diminished considerably over the years.
Now operating under the Acer Group, Packard Bell is being repositioned around simpler and more affordable technology aimed at everyday users. Its new identity centres around a dot-based logo, while its products adopt a more colourful and lifestyle-focused design.

New Products
The first product introduced under the refreshed brand is the DotBook, a 14.5-inch laptop designed for basic tasks such as web browsing, streaming and everyday work. However, no hardware specifications were given. Packard Bell says the device is intended to recall the affordable netbooks that helped establish the brand in households.
The laptop is joined by the DotLoop, a suitcase-style vinyl turntable, and the DotTune, a compact speaker for home listening. The range also includes the DotLine, a colourful 4G feature phone aimed at families and users looking to reduce their reliance on smartphones.
For personal and creative use, Packard Bell is introducing the DotLook, audio glasses capable of handling music playback and calls without earbuds or a screen, alongside the DotShine ring light for content creators. The lineup is rounded out by the DotCombo keyboard-and-mouse set and the DotBass headphones, with both adopting the brand’s colourful aesthetic.
The products use four main colours as part of Packard Bell’s new visual identity. These are orange, purple, green and yellow.
Pricing And Availability
The Packard Bell DotBook will be available from September at EUR499 (~RM2,335), while the DotLoop will cost from EUR149 (~RM697) and the DotTune from EUR34.99 (~RM164), with both also arriving in September. Meanwhile, the DotLook is priced from EUR99 (~RM463) and the DotCombo and DotShine from EUR39 (~RM183) each, with the former arriving in September and the latter in October. Lastly, the DotBass will cost from EUR29 (~RM136) in September, while the DotLine will arrive in November at EUR69 (~RM323).
