Shortly after revealing the sketches of its newest device, Nothing went ahead and revealed the Phone (4b)’s design in its entirety. With this reveal, the company also debunked the rumours circulating online claiming that the device will only have one camera.
We previously theorised on what the device might look like and what the key details were. While we managed to get most of it right, the official press release shared plenty more detail that the sketches couldn’t convey. For one, it says the brand merged the Phone (4a) Pro’s unibody design with the Glyph Bar found on the regular Phone (4a) into something familiar but new. And that’s not to mention the new full light blue colourway.
While it may not look it, the company says that, much like its predecessor, the Phone (4b) also comes with a transparent back. We assume that this transparent back is located in the upper portion of the phone where the dual cameras are. Rather than the typical phone internals we’re used to seeing, we see a pattern of bumps alongside a thin rectangular “L” piece.
Much like before, we visited Nothing’s X page to see if they had any more details and discovered that the brand posted a video showcasing the newly revealed design. There, we caught a quick glimpse of the front of the phone, which had a selfie camera in a hole-punch cutout along with some thick bezels. Also, that odd dimple in the bottom corner of the device is making a comeback.
Unfortunately, other than that, the brand has yet to reveal the device’s specs. Perhaps Nothing will share more details about it as we approach the promised 7 July launch date.
