Touch n’ Go Digital (TNG Digital) has rolled out a new EV Charging feature to its TNG eWallet platform. This enables users to locate, activate, and pay for electric vehicle (EV) charging sessions across multiple charge point operators (CPOs) in Malaysia and Singapore, all within a single app.

Powered by Voltality, a wholly owned subsidiary of Beep, the feature eliminates the need for users to juggle between different CPO apps. Drivers can now access a unified network of charging stations directly from their TNG eWallet, where payments are automatically deducted from their account balance. No card entry, separate top-ups or multiple accounts are required, and any unused balance is refunded to the eWallet almost instantly for full transparency.

At launch, the feature connects users to KINETA, EVlution, Zura Charge, CHARGE+, RExharge, Powered By RISE, and JusEV Charging Network, alongside major Singaporean operators such as SP Mobility, CDG ENGIE, EV Mobility, and MNL Asia. More partners are expected to join the platform soon, further expanding coverage and convenience for drivers.

Currently, users can access over 6,000 charging points across 1,700 locations in Malaysia and Singapore. It should be noted that the company previously partnered with DC Handal to enable QR payments for contactless charging terminals, making TNG eWallet the first to do so in Malaysia.

The new feature streamlines the entire process within the app. Drivers simply need to open the TNG eWallet, tap on the EV Charging icon, select a charger or scan its QR code, and plug in to begin charging. Once completed, the app automatically deducts the payment and provides a digital receipt for the session.
