sooka has announced a series of strategic collaborations with local companies, including telcos like Maxis and U Mobile. These partnerships serve to offer the streaming platform’s services to more users, providing Malaysians with more options for entertainment.

Maxis

The brand’s collaboration with Maxis includes three different offers, all of which will run until 31 January 2026. The first of these offers is for new and existing Maxis Postpaid 139/169/199 subscribers. These customers can get six months of complimentary sooka Premium access.

Aside from that, the telco is offering 30 days of sooka Sports & Entertainment access to customers on the Hotlink Prepaid RM55 Monthly Internet Pass. This perk is also available to those on the Hotlink Postpaid 45/60/70 with the Data 2X add-on at RM9.90.

Finally, all other Maxis Postpaid and Hotlink subscribers can access the streaming services at a discounted price. During the promotion period, these customers can subscribe to sooka Premium at RM25 per month, or the Super Streamer Add-on (sooka Sports & Entertainment) at RM15 per month.

As part of sooka’s partnership with Etiqa, all new and existing sooka users are entitled to a personal accident coverage plan worth RM10,000 from the insurance provider. To sign up for this offer, users can head over to the sooka app. It is worth noting that the coverage plan is valid for 30 days from the date of activation.

On the other hand, Etiqa customers can enjoy complimentary 10-day access to the Sports & Entertainment plan. Those eligible for this offer will receive a unique digital voucher with an activation code via email. As with the Maxis promotions, these offers will last until 31 January 2026.

Grab

Starting now until 31 December 2025, Grab users can use their Grab points to redeem a complimentary 14-day Sports & Entertainment plan via GrabRewards. Those claiming the offer will receive a unique code, which they can use on sooka’s website or app to unlock the free trial.
