Huawei is set to launch its MatePad 11.5 Papermatte Edition 2025 tablet in a week’s time. Specifically, the brand plans on officially bringing it into the country on 19 August.

Specs-wise, the MatePad 11.5 Papermatte Edition 2025 runs on Huawei’s own Kirin 8020 octa-core SoC, has 8GB RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The screen itself is an 11.5-inch Papermatte Edition display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 600 nits. Additionally, it has a maximum resolution of 1600 x 2456, a pixel density of 256 PPI, and support for a stylus.

Camera-wise, the main camera is a 13MP f/1.8 wide, while the selfie camera is an 8MP shooter. Other specifications for the tablet include support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB-C 2.0 charging.

Powering the MatePad 11.5 Papermatte Edition 2025 is a 10,100mAh battery capable of supporting 40W charging. And while it does not support wireless charging, it does support 5W reverse wired charging to other devices.

While the official pricing will only be revealed on 19 August, Huawei is opening up preorders for the tablet between now and 18 August. All you need to do is to put down a deposit of RM50 online (RM100 if you’re planning on doing so offline) at any Huawei Experience Store, the official website,  or any of its official flagship stores on Lazada, Shopee, or TikTok. Additionally, those who preorder the tablet will also receive exclusive free gifts worth up to RM698.
