Gemini, Google’s AI chatbot, has now received an update allowing users to upload up to ten images per prompt. This will affect Android, iOS, and web users. Previously, the limit for uploaded pictures was one for every prompt.

Users who attempted to upload more than one image to Gemini prior to the update would receive an option to replace the current picture with a new one. Now, the Android and iOS system gallery pickers allow a selection of up to ten. This works with all the current models, 2.0 Flash, 2.5 Flash, and 2.5 Pro.

You can also use Gemini’s built-in camera. As per 9to5Google, after taking an image, the viewfinder can be opened again. In the event you are unable to access this capability, try force stopping the mobile app. The rollout of this new update was announced by the Gemini lead, Josh Woodward, via X.

In related news, Gemini may receive two new subscription tiers to go above its current Advanced. According to a report, Google might be releasing Gemini Pro and Gemini Ultra, with additional costs for more features. This has not been confirmed yet, though it’s speculated it might be unveiled during the next I/O event.
