The Raya festive season isn’t over yet for BYD Malaysia, as the company is offering special discounts on two of its electric vehicle (EV) models. The models included in this promotion are the BYD Seal Dynamic RWD and the M6 Standard.
The BYD Seal is currently offered with a RM15,000 discount, bringing its starting price down to RM148,000. Meanwhile, the M6 Standard is now available at RM100,000, which is RM9,800 lower than its original price.
The BYD Seal was the third model launched in Malaysia after the Atto 3 and Dolphin, and notably, it was the first to feature BYD’s CTB (cell-to-body) technology. The Dynamic variant, which was not part of the initial launch lineup, is equipped with an 61.4 kWh LFP battery and a single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD) setup. It delivers 310 Nm of torque and 201 BHP, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds, and a WLTP range of up to 510 km.
As for the BYD M6, it comes in two variants—Standard and Extended. Both are front-wheel drive and deliver the same peak torque of 310 Nm, but they differ significantly in other specifications.
The Standard variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds, has an NEDC-rated range of 420 km, delivers 120 kW of power, and features a 55.4 kWh battery that supports DC fast charging up to 89 kW.
This Raya promotion is available for a limited number of units only. On top of the price reductions, customers will also receive a three-year free service package, a complimentary wallbox charger, and additional promotional rebates that BYD has yet to fully disclose.
