Huawei Mate XT To Arrive In Malaysia On 18 February

The tri-fold phone holds a large 10.2-inch display.

Huawei has officially announced the upcoming local arrival of the Mate XT, its first ever foldable smartphones with a whopping three display modes. First unveiled back in September, the tri-fold phone will be making its way to the Malaysian market on 18 February 2025.

In case you aren’t familiar with the phone, here’s a recap. It technically has one large display but with three different folding forms, you have can three screen sizes ranging from 6.4 inches in its closed form, 7.9 inches when partially unfolded, and a tablet-like 10.2-inch size with a 16:11 ratio when fully unfolded. The flexible display uses an LTPO OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the foldable runs on the brand’s in-house Kirin 9010 chipset, powered by a large 5,600mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging, alongside compatibility for 7.5W reverse wireless and 5W reverse wired charging. Connectivity-wise, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.

On the imaging side, the back contains a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens with OIS and a 5.5x optical zoom. Up front, it houses an 8MP selfie shooter.
