Alongside the Mate 70 series and the Mate X6 foldable, Huawei has also announced the new MatePad Pro 13.2 (2025). It is a refresh of the 2024 model with the same display but with a better camera setup, and faster charging.
The new MatePad Pro 13.2 sports a 13.2-inch 2880×1920 OLED touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, with an optional anti-reflective coating. As per usual, the company did not disclose the chipset, but given that its predecessor ran on the Kirin 9000S, it is speculated to run on either the Kirin 9100 or the Kirin 9020.
Imaging-wise, it gets a 50MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens on the back, while front is fitted with a 16MP selfie snapper. Oddly enough, the brand replaced last year’s 3D facial recognition sensor with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner this time around. Powering the tablet is the same 10,100mAh cell but with an upgraded charging speed of 100W. As for audio, it is equipped with a total of six speakers.
The MatePad Pro 13.2 (2025) comes with a retail price that starts from CNY5,199 (~RM3,188) for the regular model and CNY5,799 (~RM3,555) for the Soft Light Edition. For now, it is unclear when the tablet will be released in other markets.
