The iPhone 16, alongside its Plus, Pro and Pro Max models, were announced with a pre-order start date of 13 September, with Apple’s own site listing the prices of individual configs. No surprise then that local telcos are have also announced that they will start taking pre-orders on the same date. Unfortunately, it means waiting until then to see what sort of prices each are offering.

On the official U Mobile and Yes websites, both telcos mention the approaching pre-order date for the iPhone 16 and its variants, alongside a pretty specific start time of 8PM. That being the case, the phones themselves have not yet been listed as available devices any of the four telco’s sites.

As for the larger two, Maxis has mention of the iPhone 16 pre-order on its official Facebook page, with the same date and time. CelcomDigi, on the other hand, has a post linking to a page for customers to register their interest, and it is on this page where the 13 September date and 8PM time are listed instead.

With all that in mind, we’ll likely have to wait until the weekend before the telcos reveal what they offer for the iPhone 16 line. Though if you’ve been following what sort of prices each has offered over the years, you may already have an inkling of what’s to come based on the retail prices of the phones themselves.
