U Mobile today has launched U Biz Fibre 10Gbps, becoming the first ISP (internet service provider) in Malaysia to offer a 10Gbps fibre internet plan for businesses. It is priced at RM1,899 monthly, promising access to seamless high-speed internet that offers up to ten times the speed of standard business fibre plans.
The newly launched 10Gbps plan is the highest tier of the telco’s U Biz Fibre offerings. According to U Mobile, the plan is designed for businesses handling data-intensive tasks or for supporting technologies like AI and high-definition media. It also offers Secure DNS (Domain Name System) built into the service for no extra cost, offering added security against cyber-attacks and breaches as a value-added feature for business owners.
Additionally, U Biz Fibre 10Gbps provides one fixed public IP address (for a single server) for free. U Mobile adds that businesses that have multiple servers can get up to five fixed IP addresses for an additional RM300 monthly (retail price: RM500 monthly). Like all of the telco’s U Biz Fibre offerings, the new plan comes with a 24-month contract.
U Biz Fibre 10Gbps is currently available for businesses based at Berjaya Times Square and Pavilion Damansara Heights. U Mobile says other locations, including Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, KL Eco City and Mid Valley Megamall, are in the pipeline, with more to be announced soon.
