Samsung Malaysia is now inviting the public to come visit any of its local experience stores to participate in a showcase of the new Portrait Studio feature offered by its newly launched Galaxy Z Flip6 and the Galaxy Z Fold6 smartphones. The campaign is essentially promoting the use of the Galaxy AI-powered tool, where users can capture portraits of themselves and edit it in the most artistic way possible via the system’s facial recognition tech.

Portrait Studio can convert your portrait into various art styles, including those that resemble Disney or Pixar-like 3D cartoons while making them look as close to the original source as possible. It will also provide you with multiple results, allowing you to pick one that suits you the best. Usually, you’d need a Galaxy Z Flip6 or Z Fold6 for this, but the company is letting you try out both the phones and Portrait Studio by simply visiting a nearby Samsung Experience Store.

Moreover, Samsung is also giving you an opportunity to participate in its upcoming promo by featuring your AI generated portrait on 50 billboards that will be displayed in different cities across Malaysia. The company says it will select from 50 different contributors weekly, and will credit them by featuring their respective social media tags on each portrait.

To take part, share your Portrait Mode photo from the Samsung Experience Store visit on your social media account (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter), tag Samsung with @SamsungMalaysia, and also include these hashtags: #MadewithPortraitStudio and #GalaxyAI. Another important requirement is that your profile must be visible to the public. This particular campaign is ongoing until 30 August 2024.
