realme today has officially announced the date for its new realme 13 Pro series’ global launch. The event is held in India on 30 July, and will be streamed online at 2:30pm local time.

Both models in the series, namely the realme 13 Pro and realme 13Pro+, are confirmed to feature Sony LYT sensors. At least in the latter’s case, its camera setup will comprise a 50MP Sony LYT-701 primary with OIS, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

Other details, such as the complete specifications for both devices, are still kept under wraps for now. That said, realme is hyping that the realme 13 Pro series will be its “first professional AI camera phone”, indicating that the two will feature some kind of AI-powered advanced features.

For design, the company has recently revealed that the realme 13 Pro series has been designed in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston. At launch, they will be offered in three colourways: Emerald Green, Monet Gold, and Monet Purple. The latter two colors draw inspiration from French artist Oscar-Claude Monet’s famous paintings, namely “Haystacks” and “Water Lilies”.

On a related note, realme Malaysia had previously teased the line-up’s potential release for the local market earlier this month via its official Facebook page. Whether or not the realme 13 Pro series will debut locally at the same time as the global launch later this month is still not known.
