ASUS launched two new gaming monitors, with the claim that they are both “world first” in regards to the panels fitted to them. These models are the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG and the ROG Strix XG27UCG.

Starting with the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG, the monitor sports a glossy WOLED panel, which ASUS says will allow users to view those deep inky blacks and vibrant colours that OLED monitors afford, under any lighting conditions. Specs-wise, the display has a maximum resolution of QHD (2560 x 1440), along with a variable refresh rate of 240Hz and 0.3ms GTG response time, and a DCI-P3 colour accuracy of 99%. More importantly, it is also anti-flicker and is both NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, as well as AMD Freesync Premium ready.

The second gaming monitor, the ROG Strix XG27UCG, is ASUS’ first LCD dual-mode gaming monitor. What that means is that gamers will be able to switch between two different native resolutions in a heartbeat: 4K at 160Hz or Full HD at 320Hz. Additionally, the IPS panel 4K panel has a pixel density of 164 PPI, and a 1ms GTG response time.
