Maxis has introduced a new Hotlink Super Streamer Pass which allows customers to take full advantage of unlimited and uncapped 5G for streaming high-definition (1080p) video content through one of three platforms. Priced from RM9.90 per month, users can stream and binge watch popular shows and movies on sooka, Viu or iQIYI via any capable mobile device.

The Super Streamer Pass is available to all Hotlink Postpaid and Prepaid customers. Maxis notes that the former includes plans such as Hotlink Postpaid 30, Postpaid 45, Postpaid 60 and Postpaid 70, whereas the latter applies to those with an active monthly internet pass of RM25 and above.

As with most plans that offer “unlimited” data, the uncapped 4G/5G speeds offered by the Super Streamer Pass is subject to Fair Usage Policy (FUP), as stated in Maxis’ T&C page. The pass itself one-time only and is valid for a total of 30 days after purchase. Users will be notified three days before its expiry, and could choose to continue its usage by purchasing the same pass again.

Speaking of which, customers can easily sign up for the new Super Streamer Pass from the Hotlink app. To do this, first click on the Streaming link on the home screen and then tap on the streaming pass banner. From there, choose either sooka, Viu, or iQIYI as your preferred streaming platform, and then proceed to check-out in order to confirm your order.
