Not that there's much of a surprise, really.

The Nothing Ear and Ear (a) were scheduled for launch later this week, alongside dropping numbers from its naming convention. If you were expecting the designs to be a surprise, it looks like that has been spoiled, as renders of both have appeared online.

These renders come courtesy of frequent leakster Ishan Agarwal on X, previously Twitter. For the Nothing Ear, it comes in the familiar black and white colour options, with the look of the TWS buds and the case looking mostly similar to prior models. It’s unclear based on these renders what new features the upcoming pair of buds will have. Though there is one render showing it being wirelessly charged by the Phone (2).

As for the Nothing Ear (a), these look to come in a smaller case, as well as an additional colour choice of yellow. The post for these also come with some specs figures, such as 45dB ANC, eight hours of battery life with ANC off, and an IP54 rating. It’s unclear what the former will have that the latter doesn’t, beyond presumably wireless charging.

Also mentioned in these posts are the prices for each in the EU. The Nothing Ear is claimed to cost EUR149 (~RM758), while the Ear (a) is said to have a EUR99 (~RM504) price tag. Their launch later this week will be when these details are confirmed or debunked.
