Last July, Touch ‘n Go eWallet  released its GOremit feature that lets its users and merchants remit money to a total of 10 countries that cover Southeast Asia and South Asia. Now, TNG Digital has announced that the e-wallet has expanded the coverage of this feature to over 50 countries through its platform.

Initially, the feature covered Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. With the expansion, this now includes Hong Kong, Japan, the UK, and several European countries such as Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, and many more.

You can choose to remit money to the receiver’s bank account or, depending on the country, there are also options for the other side to receive your money through a supported e-wallet or cash pick-up. The transfer fee for each transaction differs by country, with the lowest being RM10 for Singapore and the highest being RM20 for European countries.

The minimum transaction amount is RM50 while the maximum depends on your tier on TnG’s platform. Moreover, the e-wallet supports receiving inbound remittance through its partners in Europe, North, Central, and South America, the Middle East, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, and China.
