Touch ‘n Go (TNG) today announced a new partnership with Webull Securities (Webull Malaysia) that brings global share trading through GOfinance. This collaboration enables eligible Malaysians to seamlessly access US, Hong Kong, and China A-share markets, giving them more investment choices without requiring an additional app.
Per the official press release, the collaboration leverages TNG eWallet’s familiar and secure access point, making it easier for Malaysians to invest. Meanwhile, Webull Malaysia is in charge of delivering regulated broking services and trading tools to the app.

According to Kenneth Chan, CEO of Webull Malaysia, the partnership is meant to reduce the friction for local citizens who’d like to invest in international shares. To that end, users can open a Webull Malaysia trading account digitally via GOfinance and directly fund it through their TNG eWallet balance. Though, that is subject to eligibility and account approval.
The Webull CEO adds that the TNG integration is largely there to help assist first-time investors. However, for seasoned investors, users are encouraged to utilise the Webull app.
How To Open A Webull Account Through TNG

Again, the system is meant to be a friction-free way for first-timers to open their investment account. To start, all users have to do is search Webull within the eWallet app—again, users are not required to download a secondary app.
Next, the user would need to provide their eKYC detail to proceed with their account creation. With their permission, the system can pull the existing user information from the TNG app without any redundant data entry.

Both companies claim that the entire registration process takes less than 10 minutes. Meanwhile, account approvals take within one to three business days. However, the new one can be approved and be used within the day of registration if there are no outstanding issues.
How To Invest
To officially start trading, simply type any ticker or company, review the price, and confirm the order. That’s all the user needs to do to buy into some shares. However, the trade must have a minimum value of US$1 (~RM4).
In terms of funding, users can deposit funds from their TNG eWallet to the investment account. Users can also do deposits via bank transfers. Another important detail to note is that the system comes with an auto FX conversion that will convert said funds to a different currency at the point of purchase.

Perhaps in celebration of the collaboration, the two companies say that there will be a USD 0 commission for US trades for the first year. Moreover, those who deposit RM200 into their investment account will receive RM30 worth of Apple shares. For more information, visit TNG’s official website.
