Coros has announced that its limited edition watch, the Apex 2 Pro Gobi Edition, is now available for purchase in Malaysia. While the Pro itself isn’t brand new as it was launched last year, the Gobi Edition was announced just a couple of weeks ago as the smartwatch’s latest colour scheme, featuring a design that’s an homage to the Gobi desert.
The Apex 2 Pro sports a 1.3-inch always-on memory LCD touch display with a 260×260 resolution. On the material side, the screen uses sapphire glass while the bezel and cover use titanium alloy. The watch is able to withstand temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C and it even has a 5ATM water resistance rating.
Its features include checkpoint, back-to-start, deviation alert, and map control, along with sensors to monitor your heart rate, ECG, body temperature, and blood oxygen levels. For battery life, it can last 75 hours when using the standard GPS, 45 hours with all systems on, and up to 30 days with regular usage. With 32GB of internal memory, it can also keep 500 hours of activity data.
The Apex 2 Pro Gobi Edition is being sold on Pangu for RM2,199, the same price as the standard colour options. As of writing, there are only 12 units left available for the limited-edition smartwatch.
