Xiaomi has announced a lineup of smart TVs to add into its Smart Living lineup. These are the Xiaomi TV A and A Pro series of TVs, both of which come in three sizes. Most of which are immediately available, with one exception which well get to later.
Being in the same series, these smart TVs have a lot in common. On the outside, they all come with a narrow bezel design, allowing them to take up less space. Underneath, they all run software based on Google TV, as well as support for Dolby Audio, DTS-X and DTS Virtual:X.
For the specific models, let’s start with the Xiaomi TV A series. In the range are 32-, 43- and 55-inch models, but the smallest one is not making the local debut alongside its bigger siblings. As such, the company has not shared much on it. On the other hand, the 43-inch model is a comes with a Full HD resolution, while the 55-inch model is a 4K TV. Both have a refresh rate of 60Hz, but only the latter supports HDR. Similarly, both have 8GB of storage space, but the 43-inch model has 1.5GB of RAM while the 55-inch model has 2GB.
Moving on to the Xiaomi TV A Pro series, all three sizes have their refresh rates locked at 60Hz. In the same vein, all three come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space. These also come with higher colour accuracy rating than the non-Pro models, with the company claiming a DCI-P3 90% colour gamut. So with these, you’re really just picking your desired display.
For their prices, the Xiaomi TV A 43 is tagged at RM1,199, while the A 55 is priced at RM1,999. As mentioned, the 32-inch model is not yet available, but the company says that details for it will be available at a later date. For the Pro models, the Xiaomi TV A Pro 43 is priced at RM1,399, while the A Pro 55 has a price tag of RM2,199. The largest model, the A Pro 65, has an asking price of RM2,699 instead.
That being said, you can get these with discounts on 9 September, in conjunction with the sale happening on many e-commerce platforms on that day. If you head to the Xiaomi Smart Living showcase in Sunway Pyramid, you can get the Pro models at a RM200 discount across the board. But if the base A models are what you’re after, you can get them via the brand’s official store on Lazada instead, for RM300 off the A 43, and RM500 off the A 55.
